Cessna Aircraft Company are currently developing and researching the Next Generation in Piston aircraft through there Proof Of Concept design or NGP. Oshkosh July 2006 saw the first public showing of the NGP as it made several fly pasts. Since then the aircraft has been on display at a number of airshows gaining public feedback on features they would like to see on the aircraft. The NGP continues to fly today.
The NGP is a Proof of Concept aircraft and not a Prototype. The current Proof of Concept is of a high wing strutless design and is likely to feature the latest in manufacturing materials and technology. At this stage as an Authorized representative for Cessna we want to know what you want in the NGP. Whether it be performance, comfort, style, all of above or more. So let us know.
